Pokemon Go is finally here in the Philippines. Officially released today, the viral app is a hit to Filipinos both kids and kids at heart. However, not all are able to fully experience the game. Pokemon Go requires players to go out and catch Pokemons but due to data limitation, some players are forced to stay where there's a wifi nearby.
Globe Telecom and Smart Communications, two of the leading telcos in the country, are helping everyone to enjoy the first few days of the game. Both networks are currently offering free data access to Pokemon Go for one whole week!
All Smart subscribers - postpaid, prepaid, Bro, Infinity, and TNT - can enjoy Pokemon Go all-day data for free from today until August 12. Download and registration of the game though is not included.
Globe, on the other hand, is giving away 300 MB worth of Pokemon Go data for one week. Subscribers of Globe must first download the Globe Switch on Google Play then download the game under the Hot Deals category. Since Globe Switch is not yet available on the Apple App Store, this promo is currently applicable to Android users.Good news to all Smart Pokémon Trainers!
