Effective May 1, 2019, Coins.ph is putting a cap on its 10% cashback incentive for load purchases. The new advisory lets users enjoy the 10% cashback up to Php1,000 per month. If you have reached that amount, your incentive will be adjusted to 5% for every succeeding load purchases.
Coins.ph is known to be generous in terms of incentives to its userbase. The 10% load rebate is the highest in the market. Regular mobile loading businesses (using retailer SIMs) only offer up to around 4.5% of rebates while GCash offers 5% with a cap of up to Php50. Their other competitor, PayMaya, has a varying offer depending on the promotional period.
The cap still puts Coins.ph on the lead as they still give the highest and a more stable income stream compared to the others.
